Mrs M lives in Cluj county, she is a Romanian citizen and is still married to an American citizen, with whom she has an under-aged child. They initially lived in the USA, but after several incidents of violence, the woman managed to return to Romania, but her child was abducted by his father and left in the care of the man's relatives in another state. The child is not permitted to have any contact with his mother, whose actions with different courts and the Romanian state were not successful. Mrs M is overwhelmed by the situation and is in need of legal counseling.
Pro Bono Attorney Manuela Gheorghiu (Cluj Bar) is currently helping Mrs M. obtain a divorce and the custody of her child.
