Mr. T lives in Cluj-Napoca. He was diagnosed with schizophrenia and, for the last few months, against his parents’ advice, has chosen to follow an alternative treatment. As a result, Mr. T was hospitalized without his consent for two weeks in the restricted area of the Psychiatric Department, where he claims that he was physically and verbally abused. At the moment, Mr. T is in the unrestricted area of the hospital, but he wishes to be released and return to work.
Pro Bono Attorney at Law Mihaela Morar got involved in the case so that Mr. T’s rights are respected, as they are guaranteed by the Law for mental health and involuntary commitment.
